RSS Feeds: Simple and Useful

You may or may not have already heard of a RSS feed. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. The name does not lie, it really is simple.  But more importantly, it is useful. It makes the hassle of checking all of your different pages for the latest updates and puts them all onto one webpage that you can easily access.

There are many different types of  feeders that you can use, but Dormlife101 suggests Google Reader.  Simply click this link and follow the steps to activate your account. To get Dormlife101 onto your RSS feed, click the red icon that says RSS to the right of the page.  Once the page loads, copy the URL and paste it onto your Google Reader account where it says “subscribe.” Like we said, it’s simple.
